A Passion for Food, A Lifetime in the Making

Cooking has always been in my blood. Growing up on a family farm with six siblings, food was more than just a necessity—it was an experience, a way to bring people together. Over the years, I found myself naturally stepping into the role of caterer for family and friends, from hosting Friendsgiving for 80 guests to preparing meals for weddings and memorials.

Decadent Desserts and More wasn’t just a business idea; it was the result of a lifetime of passion. When I made over 600 desserts for my daughter and son-in-law’s Jack and Jill wedding shower, I never imagined it would lead to a career change. But when the event venue hired me on the spot, I knew this was my next chapter. Now, I get to do what I love—bringing joy through food, one event at a time.
